Oliver’s photographs, which date primarily from the 1920s through the 1940s, are rich in views of Calgary streets, events, personalities and businesses; the Calgary Brewing and Malting Company; Calgary Stampede events and contestants; outdoor activities at Vermilion Lakes, Waterton, Banff and Jasper; the Oliver family and their Diamond L Ranch; and farms, ranches and the oil industry in the Calgary area.
