Partially narrated by then Mayor, Ralph Klein, the audio outlines positive aspects of Calgary’s transportation system, entertainment and culture, recreational activities and is directed to visitors, tourists and conventioneers in hopes of encouraging them to choose Calgary for their next destination. The meeting facilities of the Calgary Convention Centre, the Calgary Stampede Grounds, the Olympic Saddledome and the University of Calgary are explained as well.

Compiled scrapbooks, clippings and histories. — 1963-1997. — 75 cm of textual records. — Series consists of newspaper clippings, scrapbooks and written histories relating a large variety of events and information of particular interest to, or about the CCVB. The scrapbooks and histories were compiled by the CCVB to reflect the overall activities and interests of the Bureau.

M-8607-158 Treasure trove scrapbook. — [197?-198?]. — one scrapbook ; 40 x 25 x 5 cm. — File consists of one scrapbook containing a large variety of items and materials including 22 photographs, 12 coins, two issues of the Calgary Visitors Guide, one issue of Readers Digest in Japanese, one issue of This Week in Calgary, newspaper clippings, rosters, letterhead, envelopes, business cards, maps, brochures, correspondence, and other marketing items and gimmicks such as pens, matches, buttons, decals and place mats. — Scrapbook is in poor condition and is very delicate as the items are too heavy for the pages to support. The scrapbook should be handled very carefully.
